The most popular activity at Highland Lakes is golfing on the three separate 9-hole courses (Red, White and Blue) that meander through the community. The 27-hole executive course is for exclusive use by our residents and their guests.

Clubhouse Pool

A Geo-Thermal Heated 125,000 gallon Olympic sized pool with heated whirlpool spa. The Pool Complex also includes an open air pavilion with seating for 90 and a Cabana. A number of events are held in the Pavilion throughout the year.

The Lodge on Lake Tarpon

The “rustic” Lodge features a large multi-purpose room with beautiful hardwood floors, stone fireplace and a service kitchen. Huge windows in the enclosed porch frame a panoramic view of Lake Tarpon and our two pontoon boats. Outside is a geothermal-heated pool and pool deck with a nearby certified butterfly garden, a patio, picnic tables and grills as well as a horseshoe pitching pit.

Boating on Lake Tarpon

Two 24-foot pontoon boats are available to take residents and their guests for sightseeing tours of Lake Tarpon or to a lakefront restaurant for lunch. The boats pick you up at the dock behind the Lodge and return you there. Each boat is piloted by a team of two certified captains.
